Gillum Architects, P.C. can provide a variety of professional architectural and engineering services based upon the specific client’s needs and specific project requirements presented. Typically, the scope of services required and provided by our design team differ from project to project, as each project has its own unique set of objectives, challenges, budget and schedule. Our design team approaches each individual project with an open mind, and we often say we have no canned solutions for what may seem to be a typical project. Our design objective is to provide for the client a functional and esthetically pleasing design which meets the client’s budget, the client’s schedule, and the client’s overall expectations and objectives. We often provide what would be considered full architectural and engineering services from the initial preliminary design phase through the end of the construction administration phase of a particular project. In other cases we may provide only schematic design services or other specific professional services which a project or client may require. Basic professional services, as defined by the American Institute of Architects, can be provided as well as various additional services which may be required by the scope of a specific project or building program. During the course of a project, Gillum Architects, P.C. can provide the following services: - Feasibility Studies - Schematic Design Phase Services and Drawings - Preliminary Design Phase Services, Drawings and Specifications - Design Development Phase Services, Drawings and Specifications - Construction Document Phase Services, Drawings and Specifications - Project Cost Estimates - Services in regard to an Owner’s Request for Proposal from Construction Contractors and Advertisement for Bids - Receipt and Evaluation of Bids from General Contractors - Bidding and Negotiation Phase Services - Construction Administration Phase Services, including Administration of the Construction Contract throughout the Construction Phase to Project Completion - Final Punch Listing and Inspections |
